Risk Assessment
Risk assessments are required by many recent (and some not so recent) sets of regulations. Some risk assessments require more technical expertise than others but all can be time consuming.
If you are so busy running your business that risk assessments are still in your pending tray then don’t you think that you should get some help before it is too late?
If you have already done your risk assessments, are they still current and do they address the extra duty of care owed to any of your employees who are under 18 or who may be expectant or nursing mothers?
You need to carry out risk assessments under these regulations, amongst others:
- Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999;
- Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations 1992;
- Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992;
- Personal Protective Equipment at Work Regulations 1992;
- Control of Lead at Work Regulations 2002; and,
- Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002.
